I began making soap in 1999 as a lark – I wanted to make handmade gifts for Christmas. I recalled making soap as a Girl Scout way back in the late 70’s. Who knew it would turn into a passion for indulging not only my love of bath products, but provide me with a creative outlet.

I like to keep my ingredients simple but the results fabulous. All products are formulated with the highest-quality ingredients and are safe to use in body products. As a fan of fragrances, I have a large selection of sensationally fragrant products, but also formulate without fragrance or color for those who are sensitive to such ingredients.

I’m working as a higher education professional by day, and a mad soaper, gardener and motorcycler by evening and weekend. You only have a few minutes to yourself each day, and using Hemlock Springs Cottage finely made toiletries is a great way to indulge!
