Vinoy Laughner is an artist who paints landscapes and imaginative pictures in oils, and draws in pen and ink and pencil. Vinoy also produces works of mixed media as well as digital artwork and designs of a serious and a not-so-serious nature.

Vinoy survived a college degree in art and studied with several highly-accomplished traditional oil painters (descendants of the “Boston School”). A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Vinoy has spent a good deal of his life in rural Southwestern New Hampshire (in the Monadnock Region). Although he has been drawing all his life, he spent several decades working as an editor and graphic designer in the magazine publishing industry. He now devotes his time to artwork and design. Vinoy’s wife, Carol, is also an artist—an illustrator. He has one daughter, Elice, who is currently studying graphic design.
